Environment, Health & Safety

At EDAC, safety isn't just a policy; it's an integral part of our company culture. Our HSE Policy & Objectives are firmly rooted in the pursuit of "zero incidents," and we've fostered a proactive environment where every member of our team actively contributes to a safer workplace. This commitment is encapsulated in our slogan: "Safety mindset is a safe way of life."

We believe that a truly effective safety program requires full employee engagement. By involving all staff and workers as part of a self-regulating system, we empower individuals to take ownership of their safety and the safety of those around them.

To further reinforce this commitment, we deploy industrial safety certified engineers and officers to all sites. These experienced professionals are dedicated to implementing and overseeing EHS practices, providing crucial guidance and support to workers. Their presence is instrumental in preventing near-miss incidents and mitigating potential hazards.

Beyond reactive measures, EDAC takes a comprehensive and preventative approach to safety, focusing on Environment, Health, and Safety itself. Here’s a glimpse into some of the specific practices we implement at our sites:
